Clearwater Tours primary vessel is Fortitude, she is a beautiful 60ft Conquest, fibreglass construction made in WA. Weighting 35 tonnes Fortitude is a solid vessel with proven performance and comfort in WA waters.
It’s been set up for comfortable and safe tourism charters. Built for a high passenger capacity, with dual bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers. Catering for parties and events up to 47 passengers and overnight live aboard accommodation for 8 passengers and 3 crew.
Fortitude has a large galley and indoor entertaining saloon, with indoor couches for 12 passengers. The space is really nicely appointed, leather couches, stone bench tops and fully air conditioned. Tinted windows with elevated seats providing a great viewing point, smart tv to display our charts as we tour the Pilbara or to watch the game.
The large indoor galley allows for bespoke catering, and the bbq on the back deck provides great options for large groups.
In addition to the fridge / freezer in the galley, and a chest freezer on the deck, we also have an 800lt blast freezer below decks, and 2 commercial fridges built into the transom, adding over 1000 litres of additional refrigeration to keep your drinks ice cold.
The flybridge has 360 degrees views from the couches providing comfortable seating for 12 passengers.
The back deck is were all the action happens, a huge centre table with seating for 12, then comfortable seats down the gunnels on both sides, all covered by a solid canopy and shades that cover the entire deck. A large stainless bbq and a great sound system mean you can entertain a large group with easy. We have fold down tv above the back table that can be used to watch the footy, or present to your staff or customers.
The swim deck has been designed to make boarding Fortitude safe and comfortable for people of all ages and abilities.
With a 1000 horsepower Caterpillar C18 main engine, and a Caterpillar 22kva generator, Fortitude is fast, reliable and quiet. Combined with Fortitudes proven construction and Dampier’s protected waters, we can provide safe and comfortable tours and charters all year round, across the WA coast.
Accommodation / Liveaboard facilities
Fortitude is equipped with 13 beds in airconditioned rooms below decks, although we limit our overnight tours to 8 passengers and 3 crew. The accommodation rooms are shared spaces – suited to large families or small groups, with large single beds and individual lighting for reading. With large male and female bathrooms, both bathrooms have a hot water showers, and a 3rd hot shower is located on the swim deck.
We hold 2000lt of freshwater and have an onboard desalination plant to keep the freshwater tanks full. High speed Satellite internet, 2 large HD TV’s and a great audio system means your extended cruise will be one to remember.
